Ian Hopkins Nagelson, known as Chef Ian, is a native of Pennsylvania, USA. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Chef Ian received a degree with honours in culinary arts as well as food service management. Whilst being educated at Johnson & Wales, he was handpicked to represent his school at the University of Wales Institute in Cardiff, Wales. It was here Chef Ian gained a passion for the United Kingdom and realised the extensive culinary landscape of the UK.

Chef Ian proceeded to expand his experience and, with a fellow graduate, started the Cayman Islands number one catering establishment ‘Mise en Place’. He spent 7 years working to develop this business which eventually managed seven schools, three business and industry sites as well as opening and running a New York style pizzeria. Catering events from 2 to 500 people Chef Ian was instrumental in helping create a company that still excels today.
Having returned to the UK Chef Ian and his team have put together a new catering concept specialising in personal touches whilst offering value, health and nutrition and cutting-edge catering techniques. Always learning, Chef Ian continues to travel extensively to further study culinary cuisines around the world bringing these tastes and techniques back to the UK for his valued clients.
